The Gekko API documentation contains detailed explanations of the different classes (objects) and methods in the Gekko source code. For all clases, the API doc lists its members (data fields and methods), and for all the methods, the API doc lists what goes in (arguments) and out (result) of the methods. In addition, in many cases this information is commented, so that the classes and their purpose is described, and likewise with the methods.
